Liam Gallagher, the lead singer of Oasis, has decided to quit smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol as he prepares for the 2025 tour celebrating the band’s return.

The 52-year-old British singer revealed that he has replaced his vices with turmeric and honey to take care of his vocal cords. “It’s good for the voice, they told me. It’s really good, man,” he said about the unusual mixture.

“I don’t drink before going on stage. I didn’t do it during… I think it was the show I did at Wembley when everything got a bit crazy. I think I had just gotten divorced and drank a lot, and about 50 billion people said I was drunk,” he recalled.

“So I haven’t drunk since then, man. Anyway, I look pretty drunk on stage, and I look pretty drunk most of the time. No alcohol for me, lots of water, but when I go out and it’s been a decent show, I’ll have a few drinks later,” the singer confessed.

Earlier this month, Liam announced that the supporting acts for Oasis’s 2025 tour would be indie band Cast and singer Richard Ashcroft. “I just spoke to the CHEF here, it is Oasis, Richard Ashcroft, Cast, you’re welcome, see you next year,” he said in a tweet on October 4.
